Four Players Earn All-SCIAC Honors
Four basketball players were recently named to the All-SCIAC Teams. Mani Maceira (JR, Cotati) and Lana Young were named First Team All-SCIAC and Jocelyn Woolsey (SO, Piedmont) and Cameron Hanson (FR, Rockville, MD) were named Second Team All-SCIAC.

Athenas Move Into Tie For First
The women's basketball team beat the University of La Verne 60-55 on Saturday evening and is now tied for first in the SCIAC with La Verne. CMS is 12-7 overall and 7-1 in SCIAC while La Verne dropped to 14-5 and 7-1.

Athenas Finish First Half In Second
The women's basketball team concluded the first round of SCIAC play with a 72-68 win at Cal Lutheran on Thursday evening. The win improved their record to 11-7 overall and 6-1 in SCIAC play while Cal Lutheran fell to 9-7 and 5-2.

Burton Achieves Landmark Win
The women's basketball team beat Caltech 73-41 on Saturday evening to give coach Jodie Burton her 200th career SCIAC victory. She is the first women's coach in conference history to achieve the milestone.

The women's basketball team overcame a sloppy first half to defeat the University of Redlands 62-56 on Thursday evening.

Jocelyn Woolsey (SO, Piedmont) was selected SCIAC Athlete of the Week for the weeks of December 25 - January 7.

Athenas Win La Sierra Tournament Title
The CMS women's basketball team won the La Sierra Tournament over the weekend. They defeated Hiram College 51-48 on Saturday and beat tournament host La Sierra University 55-45 on Sunday.
