Alumni Day 2007

We had a nice turn out for our alumni game this past Sunday.  The alumni battled with the current team for 3 periods of play and at the end, the game was tied 2-2.  Alumni goals were scored by Maril Davis (SCR '94) and Nicole Esclamado (HMC '07 [pictured]).  The event drew 17 former Athena women's soccer players.  The alumni brought a great deal of talent and tenacity and there were times when the current team could not pass midfield.  Following the game, there was a small reception with time to chat and catch up.  We appreciate all of our former alumni and hope we can see all of you in coming years.  We will now have an alumni game annually, so see you in the fall of 2008.
