Six Players Earn All-Region Honors
CMS had six players selected to the 2006 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Adidas Division III All-Region Team. The women are in the West Region and the men in the Far West.

CMS Wins Tournament Final After Epic Semi Win
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps won the inaugural SCIAC Women's Soccer Tournament with a 2-1 victory over host University of Redlands on Saturday night and earned the SCIAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Championships.

Athenas To Compete In SCIAC Tournament
CMS will participate in the inaugural SCIAC Women's Soccer Tournament this weekend. The tournament, which will feature the top four teams in the conference, will be hosted by the University of Redlands.

CMS Easily Handles Whittier
The men's and women's soccer teams each put on offensive displays as they beat Whittier, the last place team in the SCIAC, on Wednesday. The men won 7-0 at home while the women won at Whittier 8-2. The men improved to 6-6-1 overall and 5-4-1 in SCIAC while the women are now 8-6-1 overall and 6-4 in SCIAC.

The men's and women's soccer team both beat La Verne on Saturday. The women won at home 2-0 while the men won at La Verne 2-1. The women improved to 7-6-1 overall and 4-3 in SCIAC while the men are 5-6-1 overall and 4-4-1 in SCIAC.

Athenas Down Sagehens
The CMS women's soccer team avenged their 2-1 loss to Pomona-Pitzer to open SCIAC play with a 2-1 victory of their own on Saturday evening. CMS improved to 6-5-1 overall and 4-3 in SCIAC play.

CMS Blanks Whittier
The men's and women's soccer teams each recorded shutout wins over Whittier this weekend. The women won 4-0 at home while the men won 3-0 at Whittier. The Athenas improved to 4-3-1 overall and 2-2 in SCIAC play while the Stags are now 3-3 overall and 2-1 in SCIAC.

CMS Sweeps La Verne
The men's and women's soccer teams each picked up their first SCIAC victory of the season with wins over the University of La Verne. The Stags won 1-0 at home while the Athenas won on the road 3-2.

Athenas 1-0-1 in Husson Tournament
The Athenas traveled to Maine over the weekend to take part in the Husson College tournament and came away with a win and a tie. They opened play with a 3-2 win over Western New England College and finished with a 2-2 tie against host Husson.
